Legends Of Tomorrow…

Following the success of sci-fi series’ Arrow and The Flash, DC Comics has returned with a new sci-fi series, Legends Of Tomorrow. Based in the same fictional universe, the story follows the time traveller, Rip Hunter, and his battles against the world’s number one enemy, Vandal Savage. Episode 6, “Star City 2046″, features the K Lossal mix of “Move To The Beat” by Ben Gidsjoy. Awesome! Check out the track below!

Dirty Grandpa….

We are very chuffed that the forthcoming comedy, Dirty Grandpa, featuring Robert De Niro and Zac Efron features “Rock The Show“ by Ben Gidsjoy in the trailer. Just before his wedding, Zac Efron’s character is tricked in to driving his grandpa to Florida for spring break. As you can see from the trailer, it’s not quite as straightforward as it sounds and ends up a proper boys road trip! Releases worldwide on 22nd January 2016.

New Digby Jones album…

This week sees the release of a new Digby Jones album. It features fifteen tracks of Digby’s jazz/downtempo/electronica sound, but with more emphasis on strings and acoustic instruments. There’s also a flavour of Latin, cool jazz, 70s library music and a touch of world. Check out the tracks below and if you fancy it, buy the album here. Sit back and relax…..!

And here is the news…

Aaron Sorkin’s hit TV show, The Newsroom, returned for it’s third season this month on HBO. The creator of The West Wing has set the political drama series in a fictional cable TV news room, with each episode covering current real life topics such as the US Presidential elections, revolutions in North Africa and oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico. The Emmy and Golden Globe nominated show, features Jeff Daniels in the lead role with support from British actors Emily Mortimer and Dev Patel. Episode 3 of Season 3, “Main Justice“, broadcast this week in the US, features a Sublime Music track: the Funkdust Remix of “I Feel Free” by Pocci. Awesome! Check it out below, and to buy it click here. For more info on the show click here.

Beethoven’s back…

The world’s most famous St. Bernard is back, this time helping to save his local town from being bought by an unscrupulous developer. Luckily he helps win the day, and luckily for us one of our tracks is in the movie – Rock The Show by Ben Gidsjoy plays during a bike chase across town. The movie comes out on DVD this week in the US.

Sting in the tail…

The biggest viewed new drama show in the US for Monday nights, Scorpion on CBS, has already garnered some rave reviews after it’s first airing this September. The show is inspired by the life of genius Walter O’Brien, a computer and science brainbox, and follows his team of equally clever misfits to help the US Department of Homeland Security solve some of their biggest problems. The series features actor Elyes Gabel, best known for his appearance in Game Of Thrones and the best bit for us is that Episode 4, “Shorthanded”, features the Ben Gidsjoy track “Get It’, throughout a casino scene.
