Music / tunes
Check out some of my tunes below – they include the chilled stuff I do, as well as some of the film style tracks I do under the name The Digby Jones Orchestra.
Pina Colada (and other early tunes) LP
Pina Colada was released in 2006, and was a collection of tracks written by Digby Jones from between 2001 and 2006. When a track of his, Pina Colada, appeared on Cafe Del Mar Volume 8 there was a lot more interest in his music. Therefore, he picked his favourite tracks from amongst the ones he had written and put them together on an album. The album is still very popular today, about 10 years after the first track was written. You can hear the tracks below:
The Digby Jones Orchestra
One of Digby’s side projects is his ‘orchestra’, a group of liked minded musicians who get together to make groovy, uptempo funky cuts. But the latest tracks they have done have been much more ‘filmic’ and more minimal. It would be good to get some feedback on these tracks (he has released an EP), as he is thinking of finishing an album of this type of stuff. Or he could finish a second album more along the lines of Pina Colada – be good to hear back from you. Here are some of the tracks:
