We are very pleased that one of our tracks is presently featured in the new Ceasars Palace commercial. The ad is running March / April 2012 across North America and features appearances from Celine Dion and former boy band brother Matt Goss. In January 2012, the English Provender Company are re-running their ad campaign of 2010/2011 for Lazy Garlic which featured a Sublime track, “Riga Hop“. The main character Lazlo is back with his amazingly fast chopper. See the ad here.
Digby Jones’s “Pina Colada‘ is out today on the first of a ‘Best Of’ series for the Indonesian paradise resort, Ku De Ta. Mixed by Hed Kandi resident DJ Jim Breese, Ku De Ta is well know for it’s cool clubbing and DJ guests, and it’s idyllic position overlooking the beach and the Javan Sea.

We’ve completed a brief for Soho House Berlin, which was to create a piece of music/sound design to accompany one of a trio of short films promoting the opening of their new hospitality area, The Politburo. Directed by award winning art director Mark Jubber (www.markjubber.com), the film shows a night time scene of the area in use. The track is called “Space” by Digby Jones. Check out the movie here.
We are very pleased that a Sublime Music track is featuring on the new trailers for Johnny English Reborn, the spy spoof featuring Rowan Atkinson. The track, “Are You Ready” by Ben Gidsjoy, was picked from his new album “Ready, Set, Go – The Album” which was released in November 2010. We’re just mastering a new set of tracks from The Digby Jones Orchestra which are instrumental ‘film’ style tracks, and we will release them on iTunes in Nov/Dec 2011. They are a bit of a departure from his normal style so it will be interesting to see what people think of them. Have a listen:
